Alma Jane Owen

Alma Jane Jones Owen, 72 of Connersville, died Tuesday morning, March 31, 2015, at her residence. A Fayette County native, Janie was born December 13, 1942 to Harold and Alma Fattig Jones. She was a 1961 graduate of Connersville High School. Janie is survived by her children: Erika Pflum and her husband, Shawn of Connersville; Jasen Owen and his wife, Dawn of Indianapolis; Christa Greenwell of Connersville; her grandchildren: Zoe, Hawk, Kegan, Justus, Jude, Conner, Maddox, Lucas, and John; her sisters: Juleyan Cowgill of Tallahassee, Florida; Nancy Hendrickson and her husband, Tom of Greenwood; her special friends: Patty, Joan and Tina; her dog: Lilly. In addition to her parents; Janie is preceded in death by her brothers: Bob and Cadwaller Jones; her sister: Jacqueline Petrone. Family services were held Thursday, April 2, 2015. at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home with Eric Hopkins officiating. Interment was in Dale Cemetery.
