Amanda M. Ervin, 60, of Connersville, died Thursday, March 15, 2018, at her residence.
Amanda was born October 3, 1957 in Connersville, the eighth of eleven children of Bernard and Aldythe Flythe Risch and attended Connersville area schools. She had been employed at Creative Fixtures, Hudson House Restaurant and Fayette Federal Savings and Loan. Most recently, she was co-owner and operator of Jiffy Wash car detailing with her husband. Amanda enjoyed crocheting and the company of her pets. She was an avid reader of the Bible and enjoyed Sunday rides in the car. Amanda was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Robert L. Ervin, whom she married in 1987; her sons: Ian Mains of Castroville, Texas; Nathan Mains of Indianapolis; Paul Mains of Oxford, Ohio; a step-son: Matt Ervin of Connersville; two granddaughters: Mariah Mains and Olivia Ervin; her siblings: Michael Risch of Sacramento, California; Ann Sasse of Abilene, Texas; Yvonne Risch of Silver City, New Mexico; Simon Risch of Richmond, Rose Richards of Silver City, New Mexico; Abigail Risch of Sacramento, California; Phoebe Risch of Minnesota, Naomi Risch of Silver City, New Mexico.
In addition to her parents, Amanda was preceded in death by two brothers: Jeffrey and Gregory Risch.
