Angela Renee Lay

Angela R. Lay, 34, of Liberty, died Sunday, December 11, 2011, at her residence. Born November 28, 1977 in Tampa, Florida to William G. and Barbara A. McIntosh Croucher, she was a 1995 graduate of Preble Shawnee High School. In 2006, Angela moved to Liberty, where she worked at the Liberty Bell Restaurant and later Sycamore Springs in the dietary department. On April 12, 2010, she married Roger M. Lay, Jr. in Rushville. She was a loving, caring person, who loved her children and family very much. Angela is survived by: her husband; six children: Matthew Duncan, Trevor Duncan, Ryan Lay, Joshua Duncan, Ashley Duncan, Julia Jessup; her mother: Barbara McIntosh, of Camden, OH; brother: Bill Croucher and his wife, Heather, of Lewisburg, OH; a sister, Mikki Haddix, and her husband, Michael, of Camden, OH; grandmother: Nancy Williams, of Vandalia, OH; mother-in-law: Judith Lay, of Liberty; 2 brothers-in-law; 5 sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her father; grandfathers: Fred Williams; Mac McIntosh; grandmother: Marietta McIntosh. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty. Interment will follow in Camden Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service, where memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Community Clothes Closet.
