Anna Faye Ward

Anna F. Ward, 52, of Mooresville, Indiana died Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Anna was born to Robert F. Ward Jr., and Judy Harrison Putala on July 2, 1971 in Louisville, Kentucky. Anna met Kevin Legroux; together they have shared twenty-five years. She meticulously tended to her garden where she grew veggies and flowers. Anna enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting. She was a collector of Rooster and loved displaying them all over her house. Anna was an amazing cook and her family will deeply miss her roast and pinwheels. During her free time, Anna enjoyed driving her golf cart around her community. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Through Anna’s death, she gave the gift of life to three people, with her selfless organ donation. She will be missed by all who know and love her. In addition to her mother Judy and significant other Kevin, Anna is survived by her children: Robert M., Jesse R., and Jessica L. Marcum; brother: Bobby Harrison and Lori; sisters: Addie Cheek and Michael, April Pitcher and Andy; several nieces nephews and many friends. Anna is preceded in death by her father Robert. At Anna’s request there will be no public services. Showalter Blackwell Long, Myers Chapel, Connersville has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Anna’s honor.
