Audrey G. Wilson Rudicil, 84, of Liberty, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital.
On December 25, 1927 Audrey was born to John E. and Ella E. Phillips Wilson in Dupont. She graduated from Shandon High School and on July 2, 1946 she was married to Irvin Rudicil. Audrey loved God and was a member of Hanna’s Creek Christian Church. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed camping, reading on her Kindle, and had been a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, and a Sunday school teacher. She had worked at Airway, K-Mart, and Dairy Queen.
Survivors include her children and their spouses: Lynn Rudicil of Liberty, Stephen and Pat Rudicil, Deborah and Marshall Smith, June and Steve Rigor all of Richmond, Myron and Becky Rudicil of Centerville, Ann Rudicil and her companion Mark Fox, Jo and Kenny Martin, Irvin “Chip” and Patty Rudicil, Sheri and Ed Lathery all of Liberty, Mark and Tammy Rudicil of Garrett, Pennsylvania; Myra and Leroy McVay of Brownsville, Jeffery and Elizabeth Rudicil of Tyner, Kentucky; Amy “Baby” and Jason Phillips of Liberty, 43 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, lots of good friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, a sister: Mae Daniels; five brothers: Orville, Virgil, Ernest, Frank, and Donald; three grandchildren: Aaron Rigor, Leroy McVay and Shannon Rudicil.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty with Dr. Mike Roberts of the Bible Believers Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11 am until the time of the service where memorial contributions may be made to Our Father's Pantry.
