Billy Duane Wolf

Billy D. “Bill” Wolf, 62, of Connersville died unexpectedly Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Fayette Regional Health System in Connersville. Bill was born in Connersville on Friday, April 27, 1951, to William S. and Dorothy E. Conklin Wolf. He attended the Fairfield Indiana Schools and took Pamela to be his wife on May 28, 1974, in Jellico, Tennessee. Bill worked at Square D Plant in Oxford for thirty nine years retiring in 2006. Bill loved gardening, fishing, and spending time with the grandchildren. Besides his wife of over forty three years, Bill is survived by a son and his spouse, William C. Wolf and Mandy of Connersville; a daughter and her spouse, Sabrina Renee Benner and Tim of Fountain City; three brothers and their spouses: Ronald Wolf and Nancy of Liberty, Randy Wolf of Liberty, and Jon Wolf and Carol of Madison; three sisters and their spouses: Linda Tutrow of Liberty, Karen Stone and Tony of Liberty, and Sue Hasselbring and Rev. Robert of Champagne, IL; three grandchildren: Taylor Benner, Spencer Benner, and Logan Wolf and several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his father on August 12, 1990 and his mother on August 25, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty, with Bill’s brother-in-law, Rev. Robert Hasselbring officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Grove Cemetery in Wayne County. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
