Bobbie Jo Ward

Bobbie Jo Ward, 68, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016, in Land O’ Lakes, Florida. Bobbie was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on February 8, 1948 to Robert and Alma Marie Gross Jenkins. She worked for a long time in the school system before becoming a store manager for Badcock Home Furnishing and retired after more than a decade. Bobbie enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing cards, playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest love and enjoyment was spending time with grandchildren. Bobbie is survived by five children, three daughters: Frances and husband Daniel Alarcon of Valrico, Florida, Sherry and husband Tim Turco of Fairfield, Ohio, Donna K Estrada and companion Pete Petrosky of Angelton Texas; two sons: Fred and wife Amy Ward of Valrico Florida, Ernest and wife Donna Ward of Plant City, Florida; seven grandchildren: Danny Ryan and Christina Alarcon, Jessica, Chelsea and Robbie Ward, Emma and Zack Ward; three brothers: William Jenkins of West College Corner, IN, Donnie Jenkins and wife Judy of Hamilton, OH, and Jeff Jenkins and companion Debbie of West College Corner, IN; two sisters: Becky Jenkins of West College Corner IN; and Brenda McLaughlin of College Corner, OH; and Sister in law Judy Jenkins of Gratis, OH and several Nieces and Nephews. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers: Jimmy, Michael, Robert Lawrence Jr., Harold Jenkins and Ronnie Gross. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Showalter Blackwell Tilton Funeral Home, in College Corner with Pastor Roy VanWinkle officiating.
