Carla A. Freeman, 51, of Connersville, died Tuesday morning, May 17, 2011, at her residence.
Carla was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, October 4, 1959 to Carlton C. and Annie L. Peay Heath. Growing up in a military family, she had also lived in Florida, Tennessee and Italy. Carla had lived in Connersville the past 14 years and was employed as a waitress at Mousies Café. Carla enjoyed her job and considered her customers and co-workers as part of her family. In her free time, she also enjoyed crafts and being outdoors, gardening and planting. Her dog, Sammy, was her constant companion.
Carla is survived by two daughters: Candice Organ and her husband, Dave of Santa Fe, TN, Ashley Freeman of Winter Haven, FL; her granddaughter: Audrey Freeman; a sister: Carol Drace and her husband, George of Winter Haven, FL; a brother: Mike W. Heath and his wife, Sandy of Winter Haven, FL; her step-mother: Bernice Heath of Royal, Arkansas; a nephew: Bobby Drace of Winter Haven, FL.
Carla was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Dalton Singleton.
