Connersville

Connersville native Clem Miller, 87, died Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Reid Health in Richmond surrounded by his loving family. Clem was born on October 11, 1934 to Clem Sr. and Mildred Mullikin Miller. He attended Connersville High School graduating with the class of 1953. Clem proudly served in the United States Army from 1954-1956 and was stationed in Germany. Before being honorably discharged, he enjoyed traveling through Europe. Clem married the former Mary Ann Gutzwiller on April 30, 1960 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Connersville. Clem was employed by Roots Dresser Blower for 38 years and earned his Journeyman Electrician Card. He was a faithful member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church. He served on the Bereavement Committee and readily volunteered his time for many church functions. Clem was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Many memories were made while fishing in Canada and elsewhere with his lifelong fishing buddies. If he wasn't working, hunting or fishing you could find him tending to his many hives of bees or traveling throughout the United States with his loving travel companion Mary Ann. Above all, Clem loved his family and enjoyed taking home movies of his grandchildren during the holidays. Clem will be dearly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his loving wife of sixty-two years, Clem is survived by his children and their spouses: Jeannine Dabertin of Fishers, Indiana, Eric and Tracy Miller of Covington, Kentucky, Jo Ann and Lowell Limpus of Lake Barrington, Illinois; Jill Miller of Anderson, Indiana; brothers and their spouses: Ivan Dale and Landa Miller of Milford, Ohio, Marshall Miller of Connersville, Jerry Lee and Donna Miller of Connersville; grandchildren: Rachel Dabertin, Thomas Dabertin Jr., Alex Miller, Kristen Limpus, Jacob Limpus, Kyle Miller, Kasey Miller, Kendal Miller; several nieces and nephews; many friends. Clem is preceded in death by his parents; son: Brian Miller; brother: Myron Miller; sister: Delores Boulware. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., on Friday, August 19, 2022 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church. Friends may visit at the church from 11:00 a.m., until the time of service.
