Connersville native Clem Miller, 87, died Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Reid Health in Richmond surrounded by his loving family.
Clem was born on October 11, 1934 to Clem Sr. and Mildred Mullikin Miller. He attended Connersville High School graduating with the class of 1953. Clem proudly served in the United States Army from 1954-1956 and was stationed in Germany. Before being honorably discharged, he enjoyed traveling through Europe. Clem married the former Mary Ann Gutzwiller on April 30, 1960 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Connersville. Clem was employed by Roots Dresser Blower for 38 years and earned his Journeyman Electrician Card. He was a faithful member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church. He served on the Bereavement Committee and readily volunteered his time for many church functions. Clem was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Many memories were made while fishing in Canada and elsewhere with his lifelong fishing buddies. If he wasn't working, hunting or fishing you could find him tending to his many hives of bees or traveling throughout the United States with his loving travel companion Mary Ann. Above all, Clem loved his family and enjoyed taking home movies of his grandchildren during the holidays. Clem will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
