Colleen F. Price

Colleen F. Price, 95, of Connersville, died Thursday, June 22, 2017, at Premier Healthcare of Connersville. Colleen was a native of Fayette County, born October 26, 1921, to Curtis and Nellie C. Riebsomer Huff. She attended Connersville area schools and Alquina High School. In 1942 during World War II, she was employed at Stant Manufacturing until her retirement in 1961. Colleen was married March 28, 1952 at Central Christian Church to Francis L. Price who died September 8, 2002. They resided on West 7th Street for many years in the home they built in 1955. She was a member of Central Christian Church and later attended First Baptist Church. She loved to bowl and enjoyed spending winters with her husband in Panama City Beach, Florida. Colleen is survived by her son and his wife: Barry L. Rice and Linda of Centerville; two granddaughters and their spouses: Julie Ann Mullins and Gary of Centerville, Shelley Christensen and Chris of El Dorado, Ohio; two great-grandsons: Brandon and Kevin Christensen. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dean Huff. Private funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family officiating. Interment will follow in Dale Cemetery, section L. There will be no public visitation. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
