David Harrison

David E. Harrison, 52, of Connersville, died Monday January 18th 2016, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. David was born October 19, 1963 in Connersville to Otis and Sarah Peters Harrison and attended Connersville area schools. On November 13, 1982, he was married to the former, Rhonda K. Boone in Connersville. David recently worked at Smith Dairy in Richmond as a hi - low driver. He had also been employed as a hi-low driver at Ford Electronics and later, Visteon from 1985 until it’s closing in 2007. David was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blooming Grove. He loved riding quads and was very proud of his Honda Shadow 1100 motorcycle. David enjoyed collecting anything that was odd or different. His smile and his laughter will be missed but most of all, to know David was to love him. He was someone who everyone loved to be with. In addition to his wife of 33 years, Rhonda, David is survived by his children and their spouses: Josh Harrison and Aimee; Tiffany Pollitt and Anthony, all of Connersville; his grandchildren; Ryleigh, Myleigh, Landen, Laynee, and Walker Harrison; Treyton and Kayelyn Pollitt; his brother: Wendel Harrison and his wife, Sherri of Blooming Grove; his sister: Angela Marie Swango and her husband, Ronnie of Richmond; his step-brother: Jonathan Farley and his wife, Dawn of Connersville; his step-mother: Wanda Harrison of Connersville; several nieces and nephews. David is preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Parker Joshua Lee Harrison. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, with David’s brother, Pastor Wendel Harrison, and Pastor Bill Flanigan, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Dale Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. where memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association .
