Deborah J. Casey

Debbie Casey, 54, of Connersville, died Sunday, July 31, 2016, in the emergency room at Fayette Regional Health System. Debbie was a Connersville native, born September 15, 1961, to Kenneth E. and Carol Kay Jones Throop. In 1980, she graduated from Connersville High School. She was the former owner of the Styles Inn and enjoyed practicing as a beautician and nail technician. Debbie loved her dogs, Chloe and Pooh. Debbie is survived by her son: Zachary “Zack” Casey of Connersville; two brothers: Brad Throop of Columbus and Rick Throop of New Castle; nieces: Kelly Throop, Alisha Throop Sams and Erin Throop; nephews: Lloyd Throop and Kenneth Throop; her companion: Ron Leach of Connersville; and close family friend: Amanda Neeley. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, her Mother: Carol K. Beard; her maternal grandparents: June and Harry Jones and her former husband: Mike Casey and his mother, Phyllis Casey. Graveside services will be conducted at a later date following cremation. Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
