Della Mae Wright Wells, 80, currently of Connersville, died Friday, August 24, 2018, at her residence.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Della was born April 25, 1938, to George Everett and Mable Blount Beekman. She was raised in Fort Pierce, Florida and graduated from high school there. Della had been employed at different credit unions and was a Mary Kay representative. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Ridge Springs, South Carolina. Della was an accomplished seamstress, as well as any craft she pursued. She knitted, crocheted and had the gift of a ‘green thumb’ while tending her gardens.
Della is survived by her children and their spouses: Sherice Dickey and Randy of Connersville, Wilbur Wright and Cynthia of Port St. Lucie, Florida; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Della was preceded in death by her first husband: Wilbur Wright, Sr.; her second husband: Larry Wells; her son: Ronald Dean Wright; and her sister: Juanita Ardender.
Della's family wishes to thank Nellis Day Care and AseraCare for all of their assistant, comfort and quality care. Following cremation, burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Ft.
