Diana L. Ripberger, 63, of Connersville, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Wright-Patterson Medical Center, Dayton. A Rushville native, Diana was born January 4, 1954 to Everett and Miriam Beesley Ralstin and was a 1972 graduate of Rushville High School. She enlisted in the United States Army and served her country as a cryptographer while stationed in Hawaii. Diana returned and was employed at Work One and its predecessors. She was also employed at Moorman Brothers, Rushville, where she met her husband, Barry L. Ripberger. In her leisure time, Diana found great enjoyment in reading travel books and most recently, adult coloring. She also liked to shop, especially at flea markets. Diana is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, Barry L. Ripberger; her children: Adam L. Ripberger of Connersville; Richard L. Ripberger and his wife, Lisa; Timothy L. Ripberger and his wife, Angie, all of Lafayette, Louisiana; Cherry L. Whipple of Austin, Texas; her brother: Sam Ralstin of Rushville; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Diana is preceded in death by her brother: Joe Ralstin. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
