Donna Keen

Donna L. Keen of Connersville, died Friday, December 27, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Donna was born in Knightstown on February 6, 1947, to Fredrick and Edna Morris Campbell. Donna enjoyed painting, taking pictures, sewing, reading books, and traveling throughout the United States. She was a member of the Village Creek Primitive Baptist Church and a volunteer at the Salvation Army: Lord’s Kitchen. Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. In addition to her husband McKinley “Doc” Keen, Donna is survived by her sons: Jason Keen, Adam Keen and wife Jacqueline, Curtis Keen and wife Julie, Alex Keen all of Connersville; Daughter: Amy McCarty and her husband David; Mother: Edna Morris Campbell of Connersville; brothers: Steve Campbell and wife Ellen of Shelbyville, Kenny Campbell and wife Roberta of Burkesville, Kentucky; Sister: Kathy Caldwell and husband Robert of Connersville; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and brother Matt Campbell, who died in 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery Gardens of Memories. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until time of service.
