Dora L. Leab

Dora L. Leab, 96, of Connersville, passed away on Tuesday night, December 10, 2019, at Reid Health of Richmond. She was born on September 10, 1923 in Franklin County to John Klemme and Catharine Gettinger Klemme. Dora married Bernard John Leab on August 25, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1996. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles Klemme; and two sisters, Mable Brockley and Mary Scholl. Surviving are two sons, John Leab and wife Patsy of Cordele, GA., James Leab and wife Vicki of Cordele, GA; a daughter, Joan Hendee and husband James of Ann Arbor, Michigan; a sister, Ruth Ann Gulley of Connersville; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11 AM at Showalter-Blackwell-Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel in Connersville, with Pastor John Leab officiating. Interment will follow at Everton Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening, Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home where memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
