Dorothy Ellen Conklin Wolf

Dorothy Ellen Wolf, 88, of Liberty, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011, at her home. She was born February 15, 1923 in Oxford, Ohio to John and Rosetta Wallen Conklin. On March 23, 1942 she married William Stanley Wolf. Dorothy was very dedicated to her God, her family, and her church. She will be greatly missed! Survivors include: seven children and their spouses: Ron Wolf and Nancy, Linda Tutrow, Karen Stone and Tony, Randy Wolf, Billy Wolf and Pam, all of Liberty, Sue Hasselbring and Robert, of Sterling, IL, Jon Wolf and Carol, of Madison, IN; two sisters: Bertie Hartley, Ada Berry, both of Liberty; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by: her husband on August 12, 1990; her parents; two sisters: Bessie Watt, Betty Jack; one brother: John Conklin; one granddaughter: Julie Ratliff. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty, with Rev. Robert Hasselbring officiating. Interment will follow in Valley Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service, where memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Foundation/Cancer Fund.
