Dwight Jones

Dwight Jones, 59, of Liberty died on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Dwight was born in Richmond, Indiana, on Thursday, September 15, 1955, to Charles and Opal Richardson Jones. He attended school in Liberty and also attended Connersville Vocational school. Dwight worked as a self-employed Ferrier in equine care. He enjoyed working with and riding horses, mushroom hunting, and being outdoors. Dwight desired to help others by being an organ donor. Dwight is survived by two daughters: Cherish Newton and friend, Greg Whited of Richmond, and Jamie Amber Jones and companion, Jason McFarland of Richmond; a brother Terry Joe Jones of Laurel; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Edward Jones. The family will conduct a Celebration of Life on Friday, November 14th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Liberty Church of Christ.
