Eloise C. Van Daniker, 88, of Connersville died Monday, March 25, 2013 at Lincoln Centers Nursing Home in Connersville.
Eloise was born February 4, 1925 Ethel, West Virginia, to Sherman and Goldey Johnson Copley. Eloise was very strong independent believer of religion. Eloise and her sisters had a singing talent from a young age. She enjoyed her antiques and attending local auctions and estate sales.
Eloise is survived by her two daughters: Lisa Gulley and Morris and Deloris Isaacs both of Connersville; fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a few great-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Tom Copley of Laurel and Gary Copley of Columbus, OH; three sisters: Faye McKinney of North Carolina, Garnett Copley of Florida, Blance Browning and Alen of Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Eloise is preceded in death by her first husband Samuel Spears; second husband: William Van Daniker; three sons: Kenneth P. Garci, Ted Spears, Samuel David Spears; brother: “Buddy” Copley; two sisters: Ilene Dodd and Janice Showman.
Private memorial services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lord’s Kitchen.
