Emma A Rodgers

Emma A. Rodgers, 100, of Richmond, died Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Reid Health. Emma was born to Claude and Bessie Cloude Berry on August 25, 1923 in Flint, Michigan. She married the late Robert J. Rodgers in 1938; together they shared sixty-five years prior to his passing on August 23, 2003. In her earlier years, Emma enjoyed being outdoors camping and fishing with her husband. She has more recently been a longtime resident of Arbor Trace where she has made many bonds and close friends. She will be deeply missed. In addition to her husband and parents, Emma is preceded in death by her children: Janet Wilson, Janice Helvern, Robert Rodgers, Gloria Campbell, and Wm. John Rodgers; siblings: Ancil Berry and Virginia Black. Emma is survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and two daughters-in-law. At Emma’s request there will be no public services. Private burial will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
