Eveline Harrison

Eveline Mae Harrison, 90, formerly of Connersville, died early Wednesday morning, September 2, 2015, at Villa Springs in Erlanger, Kentucky. A Connersville native, Eveline was born September 16, 1924 to Robert and Maude Mills Garland. She was a 1942 graduate of Connersville High School and was a member of the New Heights Christian Church and its predecessor, Grandview Church of Christ. On August 24, 1948, she was married to William Harrison who died February 17, 1994. Eveline is survived by her son Robert Harrison and his wife, Marilyn of Florence, Kentucky; her granddaughters: Angie Taylor and her husband, Sam of Sugar Hill, Georgia; Amy Green and her husband, Casey of Berryville, Virginia; great-grandchildren: Sawyer Harrison Green, Brooks Green, Emery Green, Caitlyn Taylor and Lily Mae Taylor; several nieces including: Ruth Taybos of Connersville and Carol Sparks Drake and her husband, Tom of Whitestown, Lori Andrews and her husband, Doug of Carmel; several nephews including: Rick Coleman and his wife, Brenda of Connersville; Robert Bills and his wife, Cheri of Cambridge City. In addition to her parents and husband, Eveline was preceded in death by her sister, Madeline Sparks who died June 20, 2015. Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Interment will be Valley Grove Cemetery in southern Wayne County. Memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky, 200 Home Road, Covington, KY 41011.
