Gayle M. Singletary, 54, of Connersville died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Indiana University Health, Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
She was born January 16, 1958 in Tampa, Florida to James William and Vivian Clara House Singletary and attended school there.
Gayle never knew a stranger and moved to Indiana in 1995. Everyone loved her southern cooking and her elaborate meals on Thanksgiving and Christmas where she invited all who wanted to attend.
Gayle liked working in her flower garden, feeding the birds, knitting and fishing. In her leisure time, she liked to do crossword puzzles and collect NASCAR memorabilia, especially items associated with Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Gayle was a dedicated participant in the Relay for Life and enjoyed her goldfish, Buddy.
Gayle will be missed by many, including her sister: Beverly Crosson and her husband, Ricky of Franklin, NC; a nephew: Rickey Singletary of Florida; and many friends, including Jack Ferman of Connersville.
