Geneva Thomas

Geneva Thomas, 97, died Saturday, November 26, 2022 at The Waters of Batesville. Geneva was born on November 19, 1925 to Ellis and Cleo Roberts Thompson in Kentucky. Geneva married Fred Thomas in 1955; together they shared twenty-five years prior to his death in 1980. She was employed at Ford on the assembly line, until her retirement after 20 faithful years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star as well as, the Moose Lodge in Florida. Geneva enjoyed cooking, especially with her grandchildren. She was incredibly family oriented and loved spending her time with them. Geneva regularly visited the Moose lodge; she believed in working hard and playing just as hard. Geneva will be remembered for her strong moral compass, willingness to help others and her sweet, caring soul. Her family will miss her dearly. Geneva is survived by her sons: Brian D. Thomas and Michael Thomas brother: Ronald Thompson and his wife Julie; granddaughters: Victoria Munoz, Jennifer Martin, Lexi Roberts, Brandy Allen and her husband Preston; grandson: Brian Thomas III; great-grandchildren: Naudia, Chloe, Landon, Abagail, Peyton; one niece. In addition to her parents and husband: Fred, Geneva is preceded in death by her infant daughter: Lisa Lynn; grandson: BJ Thomas; beloved canine companion: Jolie. At the request of Geneva, private burial at Everton Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family.
