Glen Allen Bryson, 90, of Liberty died on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at Arbor Trace in Richmond. Glen was born in Dunlapsville on Sunday, July 13, 1924, to Robert Clint and Ethel Nickels Bryson. He attended Union County schools and was a 1942 graduate of Short High School. Glen also attended the University of Kansas. He served in the U. S. Army 42nd Rainbow Division, Company E, and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He married Sue Joan Bozoarth on October 6, 1946, in Cambridge City. Glen was lifetime Union County farmer and also retired from Visteon in Connersville. He enjoyed farming, traveling, and being with his grandchildren. Glen is survived by two sons: Eric Bryson and wife Elizabeth Ann of Connersville, and Kirk Bryson and wife Tanda of Liberty; two daughters: Sara Simpson and husband Robert of College Corner, OH, and Mary Ann Wilhelm and husband Francis of Cedar Grove; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one soon to come; and several nieces and nephews. Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Sue, who died on September 10, 2008, his parents, one brother Robert Bryson and a sister, Marjorie Thibaut.
