Glenn Mccreary

Glenn McCreary, 59, of Connersville, died Thursday morning, March 19, 2015, at the home of her son in Connersville. A Connersville native, Glenn was born January 7, 1956, to Harold and Billie Rowe Stang. She attended Connersville High School and was a member of Western Avenue Baptist Church. Glenn was a former member of the Eagles Auxiliary and liked shopping, traveling and vacations spent in Florida. She most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Glenn is survived by her sons: John Richardson of Indianapolis, Michael McCreary and his wife, Shannon; Gabe McCreary, all of Connersville; her grandchildren: Noah Sherwood, Elaina, Alexis, Jacob and Allison McCreary; her siblings: Jean Wentz and Carl of Pennville, Dean Stang of Melissa, Texas; Melanie Barrett and Donald May of Connersville; her special friend: Dawn McCreary of Connersville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Glenn was preceded in death by her sister: Margaret Elizabeth Stang. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Monday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel with Dennis Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in Lick Creek Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Monday until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to help defray funeral costs.
