H. Keith Lucas

H. Keith Lucas, 69, of Doral, Florida and formerly of Connersville died Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Imperial Point Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale. Keith was born July 6, 1945 in Connersville to Howard Gordon and Joy Gulley Lucas. He was a 1963 graduate of Connersville High School and attended Indiana University Bloomington where he was president of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Keith had recently retired as president of Mainstream Communication in Hollywood, Florida. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. Keith is survived by his loving wife, Sara J. Kirkham Lucas; his son: H. Keith Lucas, Jr. and his companion, Amanda King of Germany; his mother and step-father: Joy and Norm Hapner of Connersville; Aunts: Phyllis Lake of Everton, Patsy Morris of Connersville; Uncle: Terrry Gulley and his wife, Diana of Plainfield; his step-children: Amy Niehaus Hughes of Des Peres, Missouri; Christopher Niehaus of Indianapolis; Noel Niehaus of Bloomington; his step-sisters and spouses: Deborah Brannon and Jim; Denise Hartzell and Mike, all of Connersville; step-granddaughters: Zoe, Erin Margaret & Claire Hughes; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Keith is preceded in death by his infant son: Jared; his maternal grandparents: Emerson and Vivian Gulley; his paternal grandparents: Charles and Mildred Lucas; his step-sister: Shelley Lakes.
