Harold D. Corum, 79, of Connersville died on Sunday, September 7, 2014, at the Heritage House in Connersville.
Harold was born in Beattyville, Kentucky, on January 3, 1935 to Lloyd J. and Emmer Cope Corum. He enlisted in the U. S. Army in May of 1953 and served during the Korean War. Harold’s employment was in tooling at Ford Visteon. He was member of the Bible Believer’s Baptist Church in Liberty and he enjoyed genealogy.
Harold is survived by three sons: Lloyd Corum and his wife June of Connersville, Hubert Corum and his wife Beth of Connersville, and Max Corum and his wife Patti of Milton; one daughter Carmen S. Corum of Connersville; two brothers: James Corum and wife Tish of Harrison, Ohio, and Robert Corum of Connersville; two sisters: Sue Lovins and husband Paul of Metamora, and Linda Becker and husband Dave of Harrison, Ohio; two half-brothers: Mike Corum and wife Dee of Connersville, and Jeff Corum of Connersville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mary in 1999.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel in Connersville. Burial will follow in East Brook Cemetery in Milroy at a later date.
