Hazel Mnm Hamilton

Hazel J. Hamilton, 80, of Connersville, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Premier Healthcare of Connersville. A Clay County, Kentucky native, Hazel was born April 20, 1937 to Robert and Ella Davidson Cornett and attended both Kentucky and Connersville area schools. She married Robert Hamilton in Connersville, February 23, 1958. For several years, Hazel was employed in housekeeping at the former, Fayette Memorial Hospital. In her leisure time, Hazel enjoyed boating, fishing and camping along the Ohio River and tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. Hazel is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Debbi Barnes and Carl of Connersville; her grandchildren and their spouses: Luke Hamilton; Brian Barnes and Maddison; Evan Barnes and Caitlin; Rebekah Barnes; her great-granddaughter: Averie Barnes; her daughter-in-law: Collette Hamilton of Bloomington; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Robert, Hazel is preceded in death by her son: Gary Hamilton and her siblings: Hollie Rose, Theo, Sam and Wade Cornett.
