Helen L Grimme

Helen L. Grimme, 75, of Connersville, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville. Helen was born on June 23, 1937 in Connersville, Indiana to Dallas and Faye (Stewart) Byrd. Helen graduated from Connersville High School. She enjoyed arts and crafts, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include: 2 sons: Chad and his wife Felicia Grimme of Glenwood, IN; Michael Grimme of Nottingham/ Newark, England; 2 sisters: Vivian Wilder of Arizona and Betty Lou Linville of Greensburg; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Grimme, Jr.; he died Sept. 2011; 2 sisters: Wanietta Isaacs and Evelyn Messer; 2 brothers: Johnny and Richard Byrd; and 1 grandchild. Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, is in charge of the arrangements which will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
