Herbie Browning

Herbie Browning, 51, of Connersville, died Monday, December 19, 2016 at Reid Health, Richmond after a courageous battle with cancer. Herbie, the son of Herbert and Lillie M. Norman Browning, was born in Fayette County on January 30, 1965. He attended Connersville area schools and was 1983 graduate of Connersville High School. Herbie worked at Central Indiana Transport in Richmond as an over the road truck driver. As a truck driver, he was able to frequently travel and saw all forty-eight states. Herbie enjoyed nature, especially fishing, mushroom hunting and walking in the woods. Herbie is survived by his step-son: Cody T. Heath of Connersville; two very special people: Ashley Singleton of Indianapolis and Nancy Haynes of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; his brothers: Eric Browning and his wife, Renee, of Liberty; Brent Lainhart and his wife, Nancy of Everton; Tamara Marcum of Connersville; several nieces and nephews. Herbie is preceded in death by his parents; his fiancé: Doris Singleton; his infant sister: Bonnie Jean Browning; his brother: Chris Murray; his step-father: Ray Murray. Following cremation, there will be no public services, per Herbie’s wishes. Memorial contributions in memory of Herbie may be made to the Fayette County Cancer Society.
