James C. Faber, 31, of Connersville, died Saturday evening, October 4, 2014, in the emergency room at Fayette Regional Health Systems.
A Connersville native, James was born March 29, 1983 to James A. and Jeannie M. Moore Faber. He attended Connersville area schools where he was active in all sports and had earned his general education diploma. James was trained as a CNC (computer numerical control) machining operator and had been employed at Vorzeigen in Connersville and Transilwrap Company in Richmond. He had attended Higher Praise Worship Center and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. James most enjoyed the time he spent together with his family.
James is survived by his parents of Connersville; his daughter: Faith M. Faber of Connersville; two sisters: Crystal R. Harrison of Connersville, LaDonna J. Denney and her husband, Steven of New Castle; his maternal grandfather: Danny Moore of Connersville; three nephews: James Ellis Jones; Hunter Jones; Noah Jones, all of Connersville; his companion: Rachel Johnson Steele and her daughters: Madison and Makylah; aunts, uncles and cousins.
James was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Carole I. Wagner and his paternal grandparents: Clifford and Ann Faber.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville with Pastor Jerry Hines officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 12 noon Saturday until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home to the D.A.R.E (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Program and the Fayette County Cancer Society.
