Jane Harmon, 57, of Connersville, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at her residence.
Jane was born, April 5, 1955, to Alvis and Jean Cunliffe Russell in Richmond, Kentucky. She had attended Connersville area schools and the Community Gospel Church. Jane had been employed at several local factories. Jane enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, anything Harley Davidson, attending rock concerts and listening to music. She mostly enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren and friends.
Jane is survived by husband: Randy A. Harmon; a daughter and son-in-law: Kisha D. Jackson and Kyle; two sons: Michael A. Horning and his wife, Jennifer, Bradley G. Horning and his companion, Megan Walters; her parents; brothers: Frank Russell and Phyllis and Alan Dale Russell both of Connersville; eleven grandchildren, one great-grandson: Carson Dawson mother-in-law: Eula Harmon; step-children: Craig Allen Harmon and Amy, all of Connersville; Mia Harmon of Michigan, Ian Pence of Richmond, Virginia; five step-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jane is preceded in death by her grandparents, an infant grandson and father-in-law: Roger Harmon.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville with Pastor David Pinter of the Community Gospel Church officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 2 until the time of the service where memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral costs.
