Jane K. Martin

Jane “Janie” Martin, 71, of Liberty died, Monday, January 16, 2017, at her residence. Jane was born in Oxford, Ohio, on August 30, 1945, to Charles and Esther (Baudendistel) Risch. She attended College Corner Schools. Jane was employed for twenty-three years at Visteon in Connersville. She loved her cats and making crafts. Jane is survived by three children: Dan Sizemore and wife, Susan of Holton, IN, Kevin Sizemore and fiancé Melissa Hornsby of Liberty, Kim Porter and Paul of Brookville; two brothers: Norbert Risch and wife Billie of Middletown, OH, and Melvin Risch and wife, Joy of Cambridge City; a sister: Betty Ketring of Liberty; Grandchildren: Jenna Masters and husband Cameron, Ragen Sizemore, Katelyn Porter, Samantha Porter, Hayley Porter ; Great-grandchildren: Addie and Autumn Masters; and several nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her brother: Donald Risch; two sisters: Marilyn Bell and Gail Gann; brother-in-law: David Ketring. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel in Liberty with Rev. Mick Miller officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Volunteer Fire Department.
