Jerry D. Sayres

Jerry D. Sayres, 68, of Brookville, Indiana died on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Jerry was born to Marvin and Ada Conklin Sayres in Connersville on May 26, 1954. He attended College Corner High School with the last graduating class of 1972. Jerry married the former Joanna Powell on July 6, 1973 in Bath, Indiana. He retired from Square D after thirty two years of faithful service. In addition to his wife of almost 50 years, Jerry is survived by his son Jason Sayres, three nephews, and one niece. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Larry Sayres. A visitation for family and friends will be conducted on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Showalter Blackwell Long, Baker Chapel, College Corner. Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A private burial will take place at College Corner Cemetery in West College Corner, Indiana.
