Joseph Nathaniel Lore

July 15, 1988 — September 10, 2023

Liberty

The most unique soul, Joseph Nathaniel Lore, 35, died September 10, 2023. Joe was born in Connersville on July 15, 1988, the son of Leah and Dan Potters. He attended Union County High School prior to enlisting in the United States Navy. Joe proudly served on the USS Constitution in Boston, MA until his honorable discharge in 2012. He was most recently employed with TBK America. Joe had the kindest heart with an outlandish sense of humor. He was a phenomenal artist, lyricist, and musician. Joe surrounded himself with friends and family because he loved to make them laugh. He enjoyed cooking, writing songs, and singing lullabies to his children. Joe was an incredibly proud father, and loved his children more than anything. He will be deeply missed by the family and friends he leaves behind. In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by his fiancé: Angel Kinder; children: Logan, Adler, and Stevie; step-children: Byron and Liam; sister: Laurie Evans and her husband Ryan; step-siblings: Nicholas, Brian, Jacob, Diana, and Noel; nieces and nephews: Breianna, Josh, Bella, Nathaniel “Nater”, and Ciera; his aunt and uncle: Mark and Denise Bever; cousin: Michael Bever; many extended family members and friends too numerous to mention. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and several unborn nieces and nephews including Jasper Evans. A celebration of Joe’s life will be conducted at 12:00p.m., Monday, September 18, 2023, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel with Pastor Chris Lovett officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 3:00 p.m., until 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Joe’s honor.
