Juanita J. “Sis” Aubuchon, 57, of Connersville, died Friday morning, March 29, 2013, at her residence.
Born February 9, 1956 in Connersville, Juanita was the daughter of Donald and June Laughlin Keenan. She attended Connersville area schools and was an active member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. On October 20, 1973, she was married in Connersville to Steven R. Aubuchon. Juanita had been employed with her husband at Powell Plumbing and worked relentlessly promoting their Connersville event facility, “Below The Loft.” She enjoyed baking and traveling, especially to the beach. Juanita had a ‘green thumb’ and grew orchids. She had learned sign language and often volunteered as an interpreter. Juanita was always eager to give of her time and talents to others.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 39 years; her children: Steven R. Aubuchon II and his wife, Stephanie of Connersville; Brandy Burnett and her husband, Myles of Sarasota, Florida; her grandchildren: Alexus and Dirk Aubuchon; two brothers: Clark Keenan of Connersville; Mark Keenan of Vista, California; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall, 3171 East SR44, Connersville. Friends are invited to attend an Open House at Below The Loft, 600 North Central Avenue, Connersville, following the service.
