Judith A. Klopp, 75, of Lake City Florida and formerly of Connersville, died Sunday, August 11, 2013, at Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida.
Judith was a Connersville native, born April 10, 1938, the only child of James Nelson and Margaret Ruth Smith Williams. She was a 1956 graduate of Connersville High School and majored in anthropology at Indiana University. In February of 1959, she was married to Robert R. Klopp. Together they had raised and showed Persian cats. Judith was a wonderful wife and Mother. She was an avid antique collector and enjoyed all animals.
Judith is survived by her husband of 54 years; three sons and their wives: Kevin R. Klopp and Debra of West Palm Beach, Florida; Christopher J. Klopp and Linda of Orlando, Florida; Brandon M. Klopp of Lake City, Florida; two granddaughters, a grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Judith’s parents preceded her in death.
Public graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2013, at Dale Cemetery with Pastor John Reynolds of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette County Humane Society. Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
