Julie Fox

Julie Reneé Fox, 65, of Connersville, died Wednesday morning, June 27, 2018, at Fayette Regional Health. Julie was born April 14, 1953 in Connersville and was the daughter of Wade and Helen Gabbard Fox. She attended Alquina Elementary, Connersville High Schools and later earned the general education diploma. Julie was employed for several years in the Rack Plant at Design and Manufacturing. Most recently, she worked at Square D in Oxford, Ohio. Julie enjoyed riding horses and making crafts. She attended the Connersville Baptist Temple. Julie relished the time she spent with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Julie is survived by her daughters: Teresa L. Clark and her fiancé, Michael Givens of Connersville; Tonya Rae Sells and her husband, Rick of West Lafayette; grandchildren: Amber, Norman III, Jesse and Alyssa Ellis; Christopher, Haylea and Alayna McDaniel; great-grandchildren: Kayden and Karter Coleman, Riley Smith, Amiya and Fay Ellis; brothers and their spouses: Dallas C. Fox of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Duard Fox and Cindy of Lewisburg, Ohio; Gene Fox and Myrna of Fountaintown; Michael Fox and Tracey of Brookville; several biological siblings, including Bill Durham of Connersville; nieces and nephews. Julie was preceded in death by her parents: Wade Fox and Helen Fox Mays; her sister: Loretta Fox Scott; and brothers: Danny and Doug Durham. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery Garden of Memories on North County Road 450E. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 12 noon Monday until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to the family.
