Kathy Ray, 66, of Connersville, died Monday, October 15, 2018, In Connersville. Kathy was born in Connersville June 22, 1952 and was the daughter of Raymond and Edith Bonnie Leonard Plough. She was a 1970 graduate of Connersville High School and completed an accounting degree at Ivy Tech. Kathy had been employed at the Dunn Center, Gough’s Auto and retired in 2017 from Meridian Health Services. In her leisure time, she liked taking care of her yard and flowers. Kathy most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Angie B. and Drexal Hubbard of Connersville; her step-daughter: Kathleen Ray of Rushville; her grandchildren: Travis and Lillian Hubbard, Ryan, Courtney and Matthew Hubbard; Justin, Nick and Elijah Ray; her sisters-in-law: Connie K. Ray of Richmond and Joy Buckley and her husband, Carol Dean of Glenwood; nephews and nieces, including her niece Shellie Perry and her close friend, Connie Wicker who both assisted in her care. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018.
