Kenneth M. Waters

Kenneth M. “Kennybob” Waters, 53, of Connersville, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Fayette Regional Health System. A Connersville native, Kennybob was born February 15, 1962 to Charles Michael and Wanda M. Townsend Waters. He attended Connersville High School and Ivy Tech Community College. Kennybob loved playing music, especially guitar and bass in local bands including the Wes Miller Stone Mountain Band. He was a member of Greater Vision Church. Kennybob is survived by his wife, Michelle M. Waters, whom he married June 21, 2014; his sons and their spouses: Michael Allen Waters and Twila, of Bristol, Tennessee; Kenneth R. Waters and Sherenda of Connersville; his mother: Wanda M. Waters of Connersville; his sister: Katherine S. Waters of Connersville; his brother-in-laws and his sister-in-laws: Chris and Tina McNally; Howard and Bonnie McNally; Henry McNally, all of Connersville; six grandchildren with another expected soon; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Kennybob is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Robert and Suddie Townsend; his paternal grandparents: James T. and Flonnie Waters; his brother: Kevin W. Waters; his sister: Juanita G. Waters: his first wife: Cynthia Ann Baucum Waters; his mother-in-law: Maudie Marlene McNally. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville with Pastor Mike Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Bentonville Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
