Kristin Weesner

Kristin Taylor “Kri” Weesner, 20, of Falmouth, died on Friday, July 4th at Rush Memorial Hospital in Rushville. Kristin was born in Connersville on March 10, 1994, to Douglas and Susie Weesner. Kristen attended Lincoln High School in Cambridge City. She enjoyed horseback riding, music, jokes, and taking her two children to the park. Kristin is survived by one son, Gavin Dean Ray Weesner of Falmouth; one daughter, Gracelynn Kay Burwick of Falmouth; her father and his wife, Doug Weesner and Teresa of New Castle; her mother, Susie Weesner (Mark) of Falmouth; one brother, Josh Weesner of New Lisbon; three sisters: Nikki Hendrickson and husband Chris of New Castle, Amber Atwood of Falmouth, and Candy Atwood of Falmouth; three step-sisters: Kelsey Hannon, Kristin Hannon, and Karley Hannon all of New Castle; her maternal grandparents: Donna Parrett and Alvin Cornett both of Connersville; her paternal grandmother, Nancy Weesner of New Castle; three nieces and five nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kristin was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Donald Gene Parrett and her paternal grandfather, William Weesner. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel in Connersville, with Rev. Mandye Yates officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens in New Castle. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of service where memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
