Larry Dean Evans Jr.

Larry Dean Evans, Jr., 51, of Brownsville, died May 9, 2017 at his residence. A Connersville native, Larry was born June 3, 1965 to Larry Sr. and Shirley Herbert Evans and was a 1983 graduate of Connersville High School. Until his retirement, he was employed at Visteon and its predecessors. Larry was a member of the American Legion Post 1 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 571, both of Connersville. In his leisure time, he greatly enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing and mushroom hunting. Larry especially enjoyed the time spent with his family. In addition to his parents, Larry is survived by his children: Jeremy Evans and his wife, Heather of New Castle; Tiffany Hiner and her husband, Chris of Muncie; his grandchildren: Damen, Kyrin and Jaice Evans; Dalylah and Cooper Hiner; his siblings: Malcolm Evans and his wife, Angelia of Cincinnati; Robin Evans of Connersville; Michelle Simpson and her husband, Bob of Rushville; several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, following cremation.
