Linda S. Marchbanks

Linda S. Marchbanks, 62, of Oxford, Ohio died Sunday, October 9, 2022 with her family by her side. Linda was born to Joe Lewis and Gale Cornthwaite Fleenor on November 28, 1959 in Oxford, Ohio. Linda married George Marchbanks on September 28, 1990 at Immanuel Lutheran church in Hamilton, Ohio; together they have spent thirty-two wonderful years. Linda was a successful business owner. She owned and operated her own travel agency, Travel4U, for 25 years. It was a perfect career for her, as she absolutely loved traveling. Linda loved vacationing at the beach, laying in the sun, and going on cruises. She also enjoyed quilting, making crafts, and spending time with her family. Linda was a faithful member of Fairhaven Community Church in Camden, Ohio for 15 years where she served in the women’s ministry. Her family and friends will miss her tremendously. In addition to her loving husband George, Linda is survived by her mother Gale; sons: Dustin Beckelhymer, Cody Marchbanks; daughters: Tracy (Chris) Umbstead, Shalene Rhodus; sisters: Glenna Lynch, Denita Shedden, Jennifer Campbell; grandchildren: Carson, Lilyan, Donavan, Victoria, Prestin, Cohnnor; canine companions: Cowboy and Chloe; several nieces, nephews and many friends. In addition to her father Joe, Linda is preceded in death by her siblings: J.G. Lewis and Marie Hawk. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00p.m., Friday, October 14, 2022 at Fairhaven Community Church, 6585 Israel Somers Rd, Camden, OH, with Dr. Rich Studebaker officiating. Friends may visit the church from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service. Burial will follow at Darrtown Cemetery, Oxford, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairhaven Community Church Women’s Ministry in Linda’s honor.
