Lisa A. Field

Lisa A. Field, 48, of Connersville, died Thursday morning, November 9, 2017, at her residence. Lisa was born in Connersville, October 30, 1969, to Harold and Carolyn McCowan Spurlock and was a 1988 graduate of Connersville High School. She had been employed at Visteon and was a certified nursing assistant. Lisa loved spending time with her family and her travels to Las Vegas. She participated in many events as an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Lisa is survived by her husband, Fred H. Field whom she married December 28, 1997 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee; her children: Dave McKee and Carley Field, both of Connersville; stepson: Josh Field; her granddaughters: Sophie McKee and Caleana Field; her parents: Carolyn and Harold Spurlock of Connersville; sister: Cathy Gronning and her husband, Chad of Connersville; her special nephew: Dylan Lawson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Lisa was preceded in death by her infant son, Alec Daniel Caldwell who died July 12, 1996. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2017, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, with Don Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery Garden of Memories near Lyonsville. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday where memorial contributions may be made to help defray the funeral costs.
