Connersville, IN Lois Harrison, 81, of Connersville, died Tuesday afternoon, January 13, 2015 at Fayette Regional Health System in Connersville. A native of Teges, Kentucky, Lois was born September 9, 1933 to Robert and Maude Combs Allen and attended school in Oneida, Clay County, Kentucky. She later served in The Women’s Air Corp, informally known as the Air WACs. For many years, Lois was employed at Franklin County School Corporation as a lunch aide. She was also a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greensburg. Lois especially loved the company of her family. Lois is survived by her children: Steven Schuler of Muncie; Diana Pflum of Brookville; Jeannie Heil of Bright; her grandchildren: Stephanie Ison, Derrick Pflum, McKennzie Beckedahl, Cody Heil and Adam Schuler; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her siblings: Vercie Sizemore, Hobert Allen, Gordon Allen, Lola Allen, Lela Allen, Larry Allen and Stella Deaton. Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2014 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Interment will follow in Clarksburg Cemetery, Decatur County.
