Loretta “Lori” Dunaway, 51, of Brownsville died Monday, December 2, 2013, at Reid Hospital in Richmond.
Loretta was born in Connersville, August 22, 1962, to Bobby Gene and Sharon Sue Dunaway. She attended school in Union County. Loretta was the March of Dimes poster child in 1965. Loretta loved Nascar, doing word searches, working puzzles, and was a great animal lover.
Loretta is survived by her father and step-mother: Bobby and Sally Dunaway of Cambridge City; two brothers: Brad (Wilma) Dunaway of Brownsville and Bobby (Stacey) Dunaway of Brownsville; one sister: Joyce (Kerry) Heckman of Liberty; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. Loretta was preceded in death by her mother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, December 5th at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty, with Rev. Ralph Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home 12:00 noon Thursday till time of service, where memorial contributions may be made to the family to defray funeral cost.
