Margaret Catherine “Marge” Moster, 85, of Liberty, died on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at The Chateau in Batesville.
Marge was born in Southgate, Franklin County, on September 25, 1929, to Anthony and E. Clara Schmitt Back and attended Immaculate Conception Academy in Oldenburg. She married Albert J. Moster on June 10, 1950, in Connersville and they farmed all their life. Albert and Marge enjoyed 61 years of marriage before he died on June 14, 2011. Marge was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Liberty was active in the Men and Women’s Club at the Church. Marge enjoyed gardening, attending the grandchildren’s sporting events, and being with people.
Marge is survived by three sons: John A. Moster and Jeanne of Raleigh, NC, Thomas A. Moster and Letty Camejo of Lauderhill, FL; and Donald A. Moster and Jenny of Liberty; one daughter: Sister Mary Moster of Oldenburg; a brother: Clarence Back of Lake Placid, FL; a sister: Rita Thomas of Cincinnati; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Richard Kozlowski. Marge was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Albert; five brothers: Anthony, Eugene, Raymond, Arthur, and Stanley Back; and a sister, Lucille Back.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2015, at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 404 E. Vine St. in Liberty with Father Humbert Moster and Father John Luerman officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6th at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, where a Rosary Service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bridget Men and Women’s Club.
