Margery F. Sizemore

Greenfield, IN Former Connersville resident, Margery F. Sizemore, 91, of Greenfield, died Tuesday morning, April 17, 2018 at Greenfield Healthcare Center, where she had been admitted on Wednesday. Margery was born to Ray “Jack” and Mabel Neff Jones on July 8, 1927 in Fayette County. She attended area schools and was a 1945 graduate of Connersville High School. On September 9, 1949, Margery was married in Connersville to Ray Sizemore who died December 26, 2006. She had been employed at Public Service in the 1950's and 60's and later at Green Acres in Richmond as a secretary until she retired in 2003 at the age of 76. Margery was a NASCAR fan and especially liked driver Kasey Kahne. She also enjoyed watching the Indiana Pacers. Margery is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Daniel R. and Connie Sizemore of New Palestine; her granddaughter: Nichole L. Conrad of Noblesville; her great-granddaughter: Ella Danielle Conrad; her brother and his wife: Robert L. Jones and Frankie of Connersville; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband of 58 years, Margery is preceded in death by a grandson: Jeffrey Scott Sizemore; and five sisters: Virginia Mason, Edith Mason, Ellen Siler, Alice Moore, and Betty LaMont. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville. Cremation will follow.
