Marie A. Richards

Marie Agnes Richards, 91, of Oxford, died Monday, December 8, 2014, at Woodland Country Manor in Oxford. Marie was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on June 18, 1923, to Martin and Irene Deem Kelly. She was employed as a floor lady at Dr. Scholl’s in Cincinnati for over thirty years, worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in food processing and also was a homemaker. Marie was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oxford. She enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center dining and visiting with her friends and going out shopping. Marie is survived by two sons: Ronald Richards of Oxford and Raymond J. Richards and wife Melissa J. of Oxford; four grandchildren: Lisa Ann Richards, Daniel Richards, Nina Richards, and Raymond Edward Richards; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one niece and one nephew. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kelly and a sister, Catherine Thacker. Graveside Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014, at St. Joseph Cemetery located at 4500 Foley Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, with Deacon Ronald Dvorachek officiating.
