Marilyn White

Marilyn S. White, 54 of Connersville, died at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Marilyn was born on March 19, 1960 in Connersville to Albert and Ninnie Abner Russell. On December 6, 2003, Marilyn was married to James White. She had been employed at Kroger for over thirteen years on third shift. Marilyn was a member of the Local 700, United Food Commercial Workers. She was proud to have earned her General Education Diploma. Marilyn dedicated her time to being a hard worker. Marilyn is survived by her husband, James “Jim” White; sons: Michael Frank VanAusdal, Jr. and his wife Tanda of Annville, KY; Anthony Wayne VanAusdal of Connersville; step-daughter: Jaime White of West Liberty, KY; sibilings: Charles Russell of Connersville; Stacey Collett and her husband, Greg of Hyden, KY; step-brothers: Steve Welch and his wife, Rita of Moraine, OH; Jason Welch and his wife, Michelle of McKee, KY; Step-mother: Eula Russell; Brother-in-laws: Randy White of Liberty; Steve White of Camden, OH; Sister-in-laws: Linda Bruns of Eaton, OH; Janice Self of Eaton, OH; Yvonne Adams of Gratis, OH; Grandchildren: Deshaina Grace VanAusdal and Destiney Faith VanAusdal; Special friends: Virgina Causey and Ted Price, both of Annville, KY; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her step-sister: Phyllis Lewis and her sister-in-law: Barbara Barnett. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Showalter-Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, with Pastor Ron Russell of Pentecostal Tabernacle Church officiating. Interment will follow in Dale Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Wednesday from 11 until the time of service where memorial contributions may be given to the donor’s choice.
